Super detailed lucid dream (morning of 05-31-18)
This dream resembles The Last of Us, a video game I own but have not yet played.
The last of us video game vibe w/Keanu Reeves as the leader of survivor cult amid apocalyptic zombie hoards. The visuals were incredibly realistic; at some point, I awoke within the dream b/c of how fantastic everything was). The dream reminded me of the snow mountain fortress from the film Inception; except, apocalyptic to add another dimension to an already multi-layered plot. I was in my own group but they (lead by a colleague from a former job) attempted to kill me. He’s a big guy… I just barely escaped & kept running. But it was dark & terrifying for a bit b/c I thought I was dead. After the escape was complete, I found another sanctuary lead by Keanu and they nearly killed me on 1st site. But I convinced them I’m a great soldier and they brought me in. Thing is with this group, everyone are killers (even the children). The moment you do something sketchy or even think of doing something, everyone gets an auditory notification and a bounty is placed on you. It happens in a split second, or even nanoseconds: their tech is impressive. I witnessed several of these instances by way of intro to the group. Keanu was dressed like an elite bouncer, or juggernaut dude and was pretty much the ‘one-man army’ bad-ass that he typically plays in movies, lol. At one point he was grooming me to like look after his daughter. There may have been some weird cultist stuff underlying it all, but I played along. Next, Keanu sent me out on a mission with his top lieutenant. We undertake the mission, in earnest, and lieutenant sees my extraordinary skills as I take out a series of enemy dudes on an abandoned train who are plotting an attack on our stronghold. After the mission, I’m shown even deeper levels of the safety sound system and then Keanu, a team, & I go out to track the group I was formerly with. We meet in an epic confrontation. Dream went further during the battle, but I woke up soon thereafter.
