American Alliance of Museums (AAM)

Annual conference in New Orleans, LA was, overall, a great success! Had a few minor hiccups along the way but it’s all good. Volunteered, attended many awesome sessions (& took detailed notes) & three parties (haha). Visited Historic New Orleans Collection, Contemporary Arts Center, Ogden Southern Art Center, WWII museum (saw 4D “Beyond All Boundaries” show), & the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA). NOMA’S collection was fantastic & included a room w/both Jackson Pollock & Picasso, among many other great works.

Super stoked. Up next, Asheville, N.C. on Sat, tour of Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) followed by Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in June.
