Back home from travel study

Finally arrived back home from 10 days on the road in the Deep South. Very enlightening travel study! I enjoyed every moment of it, learned a ton, and built new friendships along the way. First order of business (AKA — Fun): I had to build a new / updated playlist of tunes. This one is really cool. It’s interesting — and, a little frustrating — how quickly I reach 1000 songs… this leads to my one and only gripe against Google Music: why is there a song limit? I don’t understand, lol. Maybe someday THEY will listen through the interwebs / collective unconscious, or w/e, and do away with the silly limited playlist. I’m all about that No Limit by Usher lifestyle, which is where my frustration comes from.

I reckon I reach the limit at a rapid pace because I typically build compilations of artists’ entire discographies, then string various genres together into unique mash-ups. The connections and contrasts become intriguing in and of themselves. Anyhow, I do the best I can given the circumstances. Now, let’s keep it moving: Gratitude to Google for competing with Apple.

More to come on the travel study, we have a few more days in class and then public presentation of our work next week, stay tuned.
