How they flattened the curve during the 1918 Spanish Flu
One perspective I have regarding the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic is that we humans ignore history at our peril. The 1918 “Spanish Flu,” provides abundant analogous data; but, those who are “in charge,” (& society, generally) seem to overlook and/or underappreciate history even in the best of times…much less during times like these.
The more things change, the more things stay the same. “And, oh, how the times are a-changing,” sung Bob Dylan.
