I srsly may end up on the historical archaeology track at MTSU, do the museum mgmt certificate/M.A. thesis, then extend that to PhD…B/c I’m intrigued by the new tech avail to Arch’s to see underground w/o excavating too much & destroying things. This section also defines historical archaeology:-
“usually focus[es] on more recent societies,” In contrast to prehistoric archaeology which focuses on much older human societies.
Additionally:-
“To succeed in archaeology, you need to be able to work well as part of a team and on your own. You should be naturally curious and have a desire for knowledge, as these qualities will enhance your study and research.
